Sydney Harbour Surf Club Floating Pontoon

Synergy Engineering were engaged to supply and fabricate all steel associated with a floating pontoon set to be used as a base for a rowing club on Sydney Harbour.

This project was one of a kind and technically very complex during fabrication, however turned out to be a great success for all involved.

The pontoon was supported on 2 off 1200mm diameter CHS pipes at 12m long and tied together with a combination of CHS and SHS sections.

Synergy also undertook the roof sheeting and metalwork aboard the pontoon.
